Domestic tip # 2

If you're short on kitchen storage space, don't store your beloved George Forman grill in the laundry on top of your front-loading washing machine.

Combine a violent spin cycle and a tiled floor and the result is little bitty bits of "George" all over the place.

Awww - was it an old George? If so count your blessings and use it as an excuse to buy the new-style George with REMOVABLE-DISHWASHER FRIENDLY grill-plates!

I don't own one myself, the dream is there... ;)

I hope you are not speaking from experience because my "George" lives on the front loader at times... mind you I always have the machine switched off when I use him as I need the powerpoint.

I wish men wouldn't design kitchens... there is never ever enough bench space or powerpoints.

Unfortunately 'George' is no more. We never used the thing whilst on the washing machine, just stored it there, due to not enough cupboard space.

On the bright side, I get to go shopping for a new one, and I think I may buy a fancier model. :D
