The chores continue

I'm still sorting, cleaning, packing boxes. I've cleaned out bathroom cupboards (WHERE did all that crap come from?), laundry cupboards, the pantry and the huge wall unit in our family room. There's now lots of space to hide other crap, and I have another 5 garbage bags of stuff for charity. Today I may tackle the nightmare that is our walk-in robe.

I also have to go buy a present for some kid whose birthday party The Baby is attending this afternoon, fold and iron a mountain of clean clothes and take Bike Boy's sister to check out the house we're building. Well, the display home, anyway. OUR house is still months away from even starting, of course. But here's one I prepared earlier:

Back to work! Hand me that cleaning cloth...

You poor thing! Now's the time to get rid of all that 'valuable' crap!!

It's funny, suddenly all the things that have bugged me for months or years are getting fixed. Like the broken bathroom window, the leaning clothesline (try hanging out washing when your line tilts at about a 70-degree angle!), the revolting tiles in our ensuite....and so on.

It's amazing what y9u can achieve in a very short space of time when you have a deadline to meet.

I bet you're also saying that never again will you let the next house accumulate such crap.

Hope your neck & shoulder are improving. I was considering going to an osteopath for my assorted aches and pains but you're scaring me off somewhat.

Ah, don't let my rantings put you off - my osteo's a genius! Yes, the treatment is sometimes painful, but she fixed my tennis elbow/dodgy shoulder in 4 visits, when 2 years of chiropractic did nothing.

And she's ironing out my lower back issues that I've had for over 20 years -that's going to take a bit of time, methinks, but there's definite improvement.
