The adventures of Skippy

Bike Boy pulls the 500g pack of kangaroo mince out of the fridge and holds it up to his ear.

BB: What's that, Skip? You feel like heading down to Los Alamos, for some chilli?

Me: You are a fool.

By the way, the roo chilli wasn't a huge success. I quite liked it, but cooking kangaroo meat is kind of stinky. A bit off-putting, really. Bike Boy couldn't eat his.....and this is the man who sees anything odd on a restaurant menu (crocodile, snails, chicken, seriously, chicken feet!) as a personal challenge!

OMG!!! I've never seen kangaroo meat here in the states. Ostrich & buffalo are about as wild as it gets here in Ca! LOL!

Yeah I kinda agree with him. I love trying different food but I just can't come at roo meat. I cooked some marinated stuff up about 2 weeks ago and forced some of it down. Not doing that again even if it is low fat.

Ick... I hate kangaroo. Mum used to always try to make us eat it as kids but no matter what she did to hide it, you could always taste it.

I'm sorry your roo didn't work out. I do agree with you though, it kinda stinks before you cook it.

You must try the Naturoo brand sausages, they are good.
