Size matters!

Apparently, Macca's in the US is trialling (wait for it) a 1.24 litre soft drink. No, not in a bottle, in a single cup. Maybe it's intended for a family and they give out 5 or 6 straws with it.

Can anyone actually drink that much fizz? I can't even manage a standard 375ml can.

That's just nuts.

Wish I could say I couldn't manage that much fizz Kek! I can proudly say I haven't had ANY fizzy soft drinks in about 5 months, due to how addictive and hard to control I find fizzy drinks to be, (particularly the diet fizzy drinks). Now if I still drank diet coke or coke zero or pepsi max I'd be in real heaven AND wouldn't even have to worry about excess calories! Pros though I guess are preserving bones, more water and more money!

I can't drink that much in one go, but give me time and I can! I think it's stoooopid how McD's will do anything to entice people to eat their crap... it's just a marketing tool... to attract more people... and they say Americans like "up sizing"....

Couple that up with a story on the AM news that questioned if obesity is contagious. Only here..... :(

Suffice to say that I think there are plenty of people that would handle a 1.24L fizzy drink alongside their cholesterol sticks and cancer burgers :-/

After all, if they didn't think there was a market for it, they wouldn't put the cups into maufacturing and be trialling the product. Sweet god. O_O
