Holiday for whom?

So this is the second week of school holidays, and I've managed not to kill anyone (so far), and even after being cooped up together for the better part of two weeks, my offspring have only inflicted minor wounds on each other (again... so far). Although there has been a serious amount of name-calling and dobbing going on.

On Tuesday, I even got a phone call at work from The Baby, who apparently was in desperate need of my motherly refereeing skills in a brother-to-brother verbal abuse contest. My response was the usual "sort it out yourselves", followed by orders to NOT CALL ME AT WORK UNLESS THERE IS BLOOD AND/OR FLAMES INVOLVED.

*sigh* Monday can't come fast enough!

*************

My glute and hamstring DOMS from Sunday's workout has finally subsided to the point where I can walk normally again. Which must mean that it's time to cane my legs again. Great....

I also use the DO NOT CALL UNLESS.....sadly they still call for the most ridiculous things.

We have a pupil free day Monday so my kids aren't back at school until Tuesday. Annyoing really as Monday is my only day off and I like to have Monday's to myself.

Have a great day.

I know! Bless their little cotton socks. My kids are too young for the phone but I know what you mean. I'll be downstairs trying to work and they'll call out for me to get their toy which is right in front of them! Roll on Monday I say.

A tad tardy, having missed de-lurking day, but I thought I'd say a quick hi and let you know I've been reading your blog for a bit.

Your minimal equipment hammie exercises sound great. I'm half thinking of buying some weights so I can do something like this at home too, when I can't be bothered to go to the gym!

I cannot believe how much you sound like me in this post mate!!!! I am having the same issues with our two litties! And I am always saying "there better be blood" when one of them comes crying/grizzling/whining to me!
