You may delay, but time will not*

Yikes! I just looked at the little clock in the bottom right-hand corner of my screen, and it's after 3:00pm? How did THAT happen? Oh right, that would be a) the hour we lost due to daylight saving beginning and b) the extra hours I lost because I stayed up till a stupidly late hour watching T2 with The Middle Child, and then slept in till 10:00. Which is really only 9:00.

It will take me about a week to adapt - my body clock will be screaming NO-O-O-O-O!! when I try to drag myself out of bed at 4:30am, because HELLO?? It's really only 3:30am.

And it will probably take me an extra week to stop saying "but it's really only........ "

WE are month into daylight saving, and I think I have finally stopped saying "but it's REALLY only such and such a time" lol. It does take a good couple of weeks to adjust. 3.30 am!!! Stuff that!

This year the NZ govt gave us some extra daylight savings.. a week? two weeks? I can't remember. It's like having a little jetlag for a few days.
Kek, I hear ya on the healthy eating thing. Even on a budget it is so doable, you just don't HAVE to buy .. you know.. imported, organic, protein fortified cereal. Oats will do. ;)

Hey Kek,

I'm hearing you on this one!! WH went to bed at 10pm last night and I said "but I cant sleep yet, its only 9 o'clock". Dragged myself off the computer at 11.30 (which was really 10.30). Alarm goes off at 6am and I hit snooze no less than 4 times...yeeeouch. I'm like the walking dead today.
