I need to do blood pressure checks on a small group of new clients this afternoon, and thought I'd better make sure the batteries were still good in my monitor - it's been a while since I used it. So I set it up and checked my own BP.
It said: 94/39.
Uh.....
I ran it again and got 93/51.
That's low, even for me - I must be a wee bit dehydrated. No wonder my run sucked this morning.

Holy cow, that is low, young lady!
I have to invest in one of those automatic bp monitors.... those darn sphygmanonemeterererers (I still struggle with trying to say it!) are just awful.... they hurt my little ears (oops, I mistyped that first as arse..hehe - lucky I checked that, people reading it would have thought, just how does she check people's blood pressure like that???).

I can do the sphygmanomomom... thingie. It's just hard to hear when there's a lot of background noise. These electronic gizmos are accurate and so cheap now: much less trouble!
