What was I thinking?
When I made this as the birthday cake:
Must have been a moment of insanity, really. There can be no other explanation for purposely having 2kg of chocolate cake, coated in rich dark-choc frosting and covered with Maltesers, anywhere in my vicinity.

Well, I didn't make the CAKE - just ran out to the Sara Lee factory shop for that (saved $$$ too!) ....but I made the frosting and stuck the Maltesers and decorations on all by myself.
Good thing The Baby was on hand to eat the leftover Maltesers. Phew!
