Yum.... or odd?

I was halfway through eating my lunch today, and enjoying it too, when it occurred to me that it was probably kind of weird by most people's standards. This is what I was munching on:

A big serve of mixed greens - mignonette, oakleaf, radicchio, rocket and of course a good handful of baby spinach
About half a cup of sliced cucumber
A can of tuna - 180g worth
A tablespoon of sunflower seeds
A splash of caramellised balsamic
And... 3/4 cup of diced pineapple.

I had kind of a carby morning, so I thought I'd redress the balance with protein and salad for lunch and throw in some good fats too. This was what I came up with, based on what was in the pantry and fridge.

So - what's the consensus: Is it delicious or just really, really wrong?

Can't say it really tickles my fancy (I hate tuna) but whatever works for you I say.

My insane son has been adding pineapple to everything - wanted to add it to the potato salad for Christmas lunch - so that sounds pretty normal to me.

I used to eat tuna, grated carrot and raisins, so tuna and pineapple isn't so weird :-)

Pineapple with chopped mint. Try it.

On Thursday I used a new recipe & made a vegetarian meal with couscous. Had to make lamb otherwise there would have been a mutiny in my house.

I'm still eating it. Hubby & daughter refuse to eat it again. There is stuff left over & I've been thinking of making a soup with the leftovers only it's hot, like a gazillion degrees here and I don't think I could handle soup. I might give it to the dog.

Yum all the way...
Looks like a few of the Kek lovers are tuna loathers. I'm the same. I eat tuna regularly, but have to moosh it into grated pear to totally disguise the taste in order to get it down. (I know, I know, it's GOOD for me --- bleuch).
Pineapple sounds even better than pear!
