Training tip #39
When you're demonstrating how to do inverted rows on the Smith machine to your much-taller client, and you've set the bar quite high because she's a beginner, DON'T FORGET THAT IT'S THERE just above eye-level and smack your skull on it as you step out of the way.
Ouch.

You do lose cool trainer points for that. ;)
I felt that too!
Bloody Smith machines! A few months ago I had returned the bar to (what I thought) was the correct position but the damn thing slipped off while I was still half holding it. Even now, months later both wrists still hurt if I try to do bicep curls with a bar.
While you lost "cool trainer" points for that you just regained a few for owning up and being able to laugh about it.
