The weekend has flown by at Chez Kek and here it is, Sunday night already. I feel as though I've hardly been away from the computer - mainly because I've hardly been away from the computer.
I managed to successfully navigate my way through moving my food blog to a custom domain and over to WordPress. It's now looking almost finished, and best of all, it functions the way it's meant to. Three cheers for me! I still need to create a recipe index and update my sidebar button here, but I'll get to that. Eventually.
Apart from that, I got through some washing, the food shopping and enjoyed watching a DVD with Bike Boy last night. If you get the chance to see Made in Dagenham, don't pass it up. It was a great little British film, and a piece of history that I really knew very little about. And Miranda Richardson, in a supporting role, got to be all imperious and shouty, which is how I always think of her after Blackadder II. If you've never seen her in the role of Queenie, you have to watch this:
Not to confuse you - Made in Dagenham has nothing to do with Queen Elizabeth I, British explorers or Rowan Atkinson. It's about the fight for equal pay for women in the 1960s, and industrial action taken by the machinists at Ford in Dagenham, England.

I have some pretty big plans on the blogging front, but some of them are going to take some time to implement. I do have some firm plans for improving and expanding my blogging, plus lots of vague ideas that I'm working on refining. Lucky for me, there are heaps of resources on the net, and I also have a blogging

(assuming you haven't already). Numbers aren't everything, but they do count in some areas. And if you're a serial lurker, come out from behind that bush now and then and leave me a comment - even if it's just to say "hi". If you have a blog, post a link - I'd love to come visit you.
In the meantime, while I'm plotting and scheming and working on all these plans, I hope to get back to a more regular blogging schedule and also get back to my main themes. Hmm... what are they again? :p
